Server 2008 R2 with XP Client

hi TEAM Microsof.

I have a microsoft windows server 2008 R2 install in my office.

And windows xp is client of that server.  

I m pinging from client to server and server to client bt packets r dropping in it.

some time ping successful.

bt most of the time packets are dropping.

In server when i open the dhcp the following error is showing on the screen mmc.exe assertion error .
